Apollo Education Group Inc (NASDAQ: APOL) reported better-than-expected earnings for its fiscal third quarter. However, the company lowered its forecast for the year ending in August. Apollo Education shares dipped 6.76 percent to $14.49 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) to post its Q4 earnings at $0.18 per share on revenue of $85.71 million. AeroVironment shares dropped 1.63 percent to close at $26.03 yesterday.
Juno Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: JUNO) reported that it has obtained regulatory approval for an investigational new drug application concerning its B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment. The company also announced ten-year collaboration with Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ: CELG). Juno Therapeutics shares jumped 39.72 percent to $64.69 in pre-market trading, while Celgene shares fell 2.01 percent to $112.60 in pre-market trading.
Willis Group Holdings PLC (NYSE: WSH) and Towers Watson & Co (NASDAQ: TW) announced an all-stock merger deal valued at $18 billion. Willis Group shares dropped 2.60 percent to close at $45.40 yesterday, while Towers Watson shares slipped 2.32 percent to close at $137.98 yesterday.
