Standard Pacific Corp. (NYSE: SPF) and Ryland Group Inc (NYSE: RYL) have agreed to merge in an all-stock transaction that would have an equity market capitalization of approximately $5.2 billion. Standard Pacific shares gained 1.21 percent to close at $8.36 on Friday, while Ryland shares climbed 1.16 percent to close at $42.79 on Friday.



Shares of Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc (NYSE: LL) surged over 4 percent Friday, on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential offer from Home Depot Inc (NYSE: HD). According to the report, Home Depot could pay $35 to $40 per share. Lumber Liquidators shares climbed 4.07 percent to close at $21.48 on Friday, while Home Depot shares fell 0.23 percent to $110.35 in after-hours trading.



Wall Street expects Motorcar Parts of America, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPAA) to report its Q4 earnings at $0.43 per share on revenue of $89.04 million. Motorcar Parts of America shares dropped 2.74 percent to close at $29.82 on Friday.


Bona Film Group Ltd (ADR) (NASDAQ: BONA) announced Friday, that its board has received a non-binding proposal of a "going private" transaction from founder, Chairman and CEO Yu Dong, Sequoia Capital China I LP and Fosun International Limited. Bona Film shares gained 1.01 percent to close at $12.99 on Friday.


Niska Gas Storage Partners LLC (NYSE: NKA)agreed to be acquired by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (NYSE: BIP) and its institutional partners for $4.225 per common unit in cash. Niska Gas Storage shares slipped 12.14 percent to close at $1.23 on Friday, while Brookfield Infrastructure shares fell 0.41 percent to close at $43.88 on Friday.
